Sensory and Physical
Students with 'Sensory and Physical' difficulties are often diagnosed or labelled with; Dyspraxia, or a one of a variety of different genetic conditions or birth related conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, all of which affect coordination and moment they could also require medical or personal care. They could also struggle with fine or gross motor control which has not been given any formal diagnosis and result in handwriting difficulties ( pace and quality of writing).
Students could also have a physical disability such as hearing or vision (partial/full) loss.
Students with sensory difficulties are commonly linked to Autism Spectrum Disorder but could also be linked to a sensory processing disorder.

Physical Disability: Ability to access all activities despite physical, hearing or visual difficulty
Sensory: Hyper (over) Hypo (under) sensitive to noise, light, touch.
Handwriting: Ability to write legibly, with ease and at a pace equivalent to peers.
