On the issues

The federal budget a mess. Here's how we can correct that:

• All taxes should be cut to a small, flat income tax which will put more money into every American's pocket.
• Pork needs to be cut by lowering funding to departments that add little to nothing to America.
• We need to end departments that only worsen the state of our nation like the Department of education.
• We need to end wasteful spending like USAID which throw away money for no gain.

We must ensure that right to life, liberty, and property continues to be protected.

• We must block all attempts to hinder or break down the right to bear arms of any kind.
• We must continue to try to appeal legislation such as the Patriot Act which seeks to destroy the privacy of all Americans.
• We need to work against policies which unfairly target lower income individuals such as zoning and tax stamps for certain items.
• We must work to federalize our government more as the states will always be better at solving local issues than the federal government.

Unions and collective bargaining have allowed the middle class to prosper. After decades of union-bashing, here's how we can get this back on track:

• We must oppose right to work legislation at every corner of government as these laws put unfair burdens on unions, and in the end will lead to the weakening of workers.
• We must ensure that unions are able to have every option on the table when negotiating with companies such as the right to demand joining the Union as a condition of employment.
• We must work to oppose any bill which seeks to take away the fair and just rights of unions from collective barganing to the right to strike.

We can not allow our military to become under strength and unable to face futures challenges against enemies such as China. Here is what we must do to ensure our strength.

• We must do whatever is necessary to increase the size of our navy to 355 ships which would allow for it to keep up with modern challenges against our new more maritime foe the People's Republic of China.
• We must ensure that we always sufficiently fund research and development, so that we can retain our technological superiority over our foes.
• We must fight against budget cuts which would hamper us from protecting our loyal allies in addition to hampering our ability to project stability across the globe.
