To start from the beginning I was born in a hospital in Detroit although my family lived in the suburbs of Macomb where I still live to this day. From the beginning I have always been a man of the Midwest. I have always loved seeing it snow although I am not as thrilled when it comes to having to shovel it. This state has always been my home, and has encompassed my entire political career. From my days working as head of video advertising for the then sane Murpple to my work in the house of representatives where I focused on bringing the issues of this state to the forefront in Congress. This continues to this day as I represent this state in the Senate. This has been a key part of my life from the beginning and will continue to be, and representing it has been on of the greatest honors.
