About Me

I am Sena Ataş, I graduated from high school in 2020 in Konya, and I have started university in the same city. My department is English language teaching and I am a third-grade student. I chose this department because I love both English and teaching, especially to young learners. I am trying to improve myself so that I can be a better teacher for my future students. I believe that a person should not focus just on one thing in life. Like everybody, I also need a special time with myself in this busy pace of the world. I enjoy different things. I love learning,too, and there is a fact, I think we all know, the one who says I know I learned everything is dead. This means that if someone thinks that I know everything, then that person knows nothing. Because knowing everything is impossible in the world. Thus, I always try to learn more and try to use that knowledge to help people. 

Shortly soon, when I am assigned, I want to make beautiful memories with my students. Even when they graduate and have their job, I want them to remember me with gratitude, and not cut off communication with me. Being a teacher does not mean teaching something to students only inside the classroom. Some of my teachers always say to me that real teaching happens outside the classroom. ıf we cannot see the real problems of our students, trying to teach grammar or whatever obstinately will be in vain. Topics of any lesson can be learned anytime; the important one is to can understand our students. We must be able to feel our students even when they do not speak. For these reasons, I am trying to improve myself these days, and I will do the same in the future.
