Background

For a long time women have been one of the largest population of marginalized groups in our societies. As the world becomes more aware of the value of diversities and inclusion in every aspect of our life, there are growing numbers of female leaders taking leadership positions and/or fulfilling indispensable roles in supporting social impact organizations.

There are yet many occasions where women still feel their voices are not heard and their perspectives not taken importantly. Many feel invisible and powerless despite the world making efforts to be more diverse and inclusive - as a result our society continues to operate without realizing what true womanly values and contributions could look like.

For more women to truly liberate their authentic leadership and put them in use to serve their communities, it is important their stories and experiences are told from their own perspectives - as a wife, mother, daughter and many other roles traditionally women have played, but whose stories that have been long neglected from mainstream sociopolitical discourses.

Through this session, we wish to provide female leaders in social sector:

As a result, we intend to see see increased understanding about the true values and voices of female leaders, and they will feed back into our mainstream sociopolitical systems as a source of diversities.
