Students Finishing Work with a Manual Course

You might have a situation where students need to complete work from a past grading term (or one that is going to end soon). There are two options for this. You can change a course from Term to Course (instructions here, only works in a current term) and yet this option might be easier in a lot of cases.

Steps:

1. Create a manually-created course

2. Add the assignment(s) the student(s) need to complete (copy from the original course)

3. Add the student(s) to the course (People, +People, add their email addresses)

4. Publish the course (add a Participation end date unless you want students to have access indefinitely)
