The So Every Body Can Move (SEBCM) Delaware initiative is a movement to ensure that every Delawarean—regardless of ability—has equitable access to the care, equipment, and opportunities they need to live an active, healthy life. For individuals with limb loss, limb difference, and mobility impairments, access to prosthetic and orthotic care, adaptive fitness, and recreational activity is not a luxury—it is essential to independence, physical health, and full participation in our communities. Yet too many face unnecessary barriers due to insurance limitations, outdated policies, and gaps in coverage that fail to recognize these needs as medically necessary and life-enhancing.
SEBCM Delaware is working to change that. Through thoughtful legislation, strong partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations, and the voices of those with lived experience, we are advancing a vision of equity, access, and inclusion. Our goal is simple but powerful: to remove barriers, expand access to adaptive and prosthetic care, and ensure that every body in Delaware truly has the opportunity to move.
We are a group of dedicated individuals with limb difference, caregivers, advocates, clinicians, and organizers working hard to make orthotic and prosthetic (O&P Care) in the First State - take a look around to learn more and please join us!
