Welcome to my website!
My name is Sebastian Link and I am a Senior Economist (PostDoc) at the ifo Institute in Munich, member of the Junior Faculty of LMU Munich, IZA Research Fellow, and CESifo Affiliate.
Here is my CV.
My research covers various topics in Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and Public Economics. In particular, I use micro data to study the reaction of firms to public policy (e.g., taxation, minimum wages, or government measures during the pandemic) and macro shocks, as well as the expectation formation of firms and households.
You can learn more about my research here.
I further contribute to the ifo Institute's mission to provide policy advice and inform the public by covering topics on public and labor market policies, as well as analyzing recent labor market and wage developments as part of ifo's economic forecasts. For more information on my policy work see here.
