Where the Water Holds the Light
Where the Water Holds the Light
There are days when Whitby Harbour seems to glow. The changing light dances across the water, reflections shimmer between the boats, and familiar scenes become something entirely new.
This artwork began with one of my own photographs before being reimagined in an impressionist style inspired by the beauty of light, colour and movement. Rather than capturing every detail, it celebrates the feeling of standing beside the harbour and simply taking a quiet moment to appreciate it.
Whether Whitby reminds you of peaceful mornings, family holidays or favourite walks along the waterfront, this piece brings a little of that calm into your home.
