On November 11, 2023, we had the honor of being invited as Guest Teachers to visit an elementary school in Surakarta. During this visit, I had the pleasure of interacting with the Science club, a group of delightful and energetic students. Witnessing their excitement and enthusiasm upon entering their classroom was truly heartwarming.
The day unfolded as a joyous and memorable experience with these charming children. As part of their activities, I introduced the Balloon-Powered Car, and they worked together to create their own toys in groups. The kids had a blast, finding both fun and enjoyment in the process.
Continuing our exploration, I also introduced an Improvised Lung Model, demonstrating its functionality and providing a simple explanation of the mechanism behind it. Sharing these educational activities with the students was not only enjoyable but also a rewarding learning experience for all of us.
Reflecting on that day, I can confidently say it was filled with fun, laughter, and a genuine exchange of knowledge. Engaging with these little bright minds in Indonesia has been one of the most memorable and fulfilling experiences during my time here.
