Before conducting the teaching and learning process, teachers are required to prepare a lesson plan based on the curriculum or syllabus implemented in the Philippines. At USHS, the lesson plan format is quite similar to the one I am familiar with, although there are some differences in the structure of the learning activities.

In general, the lesson plan at USHS includes several main components, such as learning objectives, lesson content, required materials, and classroom preparation. In the classroom preparation stage, teachers organize several steps before moving to the main activity, including review, motivation, initial discussion, and explanation of procedures. This is then followed by evaluation, and the lesson usually ends with a summary or review of the material covered that day.

After preparing the lesson plan, teachers also design supporting media such as PowerPoint slides to assist in delivering the lesson. These slides typically include the lesson topic, a review of previous material, explanations, discussions, and practice activities. In addition, teachers consider different learning styles to ensure that the teaching process is as effective and engaging as possible in the classroom.
