My Experience at Mariano Marcos State University

During my participation in the program, I was assigned to Mariano Marcos State University, a respected public university located in the province of Ilocos Norte in the northern part of the Philippines.

From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt welcomed by the university community. The faculty members, staff, and students were incredibly friendly and supportive. They made a great effort to help international students feel comfortable and included in campus activities.

The campus environment was vibrant and inspiring. Walking through the university grounds each day, I could see students actively participating in academic discussions, extracurricular activities, and community programs. The atmosphere encouraged both academic excellence and personal development, making it an ideal environment for learning and teaching.

One of the things that impressed me the most about the university was its strong commitment to education and community service. The university not only focuses on academic achievement but also encourages students to contribute positively to society. This philosophy was clearly reflected in the way classes were conducted and how students interacted with their teachers and peers.
