Introdution

My name is Jerrobless D. Dakiwas, currently taking up Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at the University of Northern Philippines. It is my privilege to be one of the participants of SEA-Teacher Program Batch 10 at Udon Thani Rajabhat University in Thailand.

I never thought I would be working in another country because I am very close to my family. However, when I got the chance to join this prestigious program in behalf of UNP, I did a lot of thinking. Since I am about to graduate, I am eager to get some real experience in teaching and develop myself, so I did not lose the opportunity to get a better experience and to gain more experience.

I wanted to be part of SEA-Teachers Project to experience living in a new place, learn how to be more flexible and at the same time observe other teaching methodologies in another country. This is a great chance for a future professional teacher to develop their knowledge of various educational practices. Furthermore, I want to be more confident and I think that is why I should join this program. It also helps me build up for my ultimate dream of getting a job overseas in different settings of education. This is my first time traveling abroad, and it took courage and preparation to take this step. I am extremely grateful to the SEA-Teacher Program and SEAMEO for making this dream a reality and providing me with this life-changing opportunity
