How did SEAN perform under pressure?

SEAN had two known weaknesses that often played into each other. SEAN is sometimes too contemplative, and also somewhat of a coward. For example, when faced with the Wumpus, SEAN sometimes need time to think, and then takes a run-up to defeat it.

He also tends to take his time exploring around a region before he picks up the Gold and returns home. While we were hoping that this was SEAN becoming sentient, this more likely has to do with the pathfinding algorithm that tended to favor certain patterns over others.

In the end, SEAN did not fail to bring back the gold; even if he did take his time to do so.

How did other robots perform under the same pressure?

Other robots' performances varried from walking directly into a Pit, to having efficient, optimized logic which did not fail to retrieve the Gold in the shortest time possible. While they did lack the speaking ability of SEAN, and the perhaps the character, there were very veritable competitors to SEAN's Gold finding abilities.

Is there any possible suggestions that can help SEAN improve?

SEAN could use some work on how often it updates its awareness of the map, which would solve the need for a run-up, as well as circling around for no reason. SEAN also should be incentivized to search for unexplored territories as opposed to remaining in its bubble of safe spaces.

These improvements would make SEAN an unstoppable Gold Digging Machineā„¢.
