biostatisticians

Dr. Maiying Kong is a professor in the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at the University of Louisville (UofL). She leads the Research Design, Compliance, and Data Management (RDCD) Core of the Louisville Clinical and Translational Research Center (LCTRC). She also directs the Biostatistics Core at the UofL Brown Cancer Center. Dr. Kong serves as a Co-Investigator on this study and is responsible for clinical trial design, data analysis, and interpretation of results. She will work closely with the research team and Winky Wan to support the statistical needs related to experimental design and data analysis. 

Winky Wan is a biostatistician at the Louisville Clinical and Translational Research Center (LCTRC). She obtained her master’s degree in statistics from Rice University. Winky has been working closely with our study team—attending weekly meetings, carrying out randomization, and performing data analyses under the supervision of Dr. Maiying Kong.
