a little about the "real" me...
I'm not a "typical" therapist!
I'm pretty down-to-earth!
I'm married and have 2 rescue dogs. I'm an animal lover! I enjoy a sense of accomplishment with do-it-yourself home improvement or decorating projects. I love making things visually appealing & feeling like something is specially curated. I love entertaining, traveling, architecture/archaeology, art, aviation/military, culinary restaurant weeks/cooking, shopping, walks on the beach, swimming in the mornings, and spending summer time relaxing on the water.
My favorite sports are actually from snow-capped cabins in the North (skiing, ice skating, snow shoeing, and hockey). I'm a Detroit Red Wings fan! I'm curious. I stay current with continuing education and attend conferences to learn new & interesting things. I'm an avid reader; the latest trends in psychological research, new studies, health/wellness, genetics & genealogy, finance & investment, history, culture, nearly all the sciences, and National Geographic magazine are my favorites.
I admire people who challenge status quo when needed, are self-made, for whom early adversity built character, value independent thinking, showcase persistence in the face of doubt, a willingness to take calculated risks, strong personal accountability, curiosity, and a dedication to pursue their ideas.
