Procedures of teaching
Before the practice teaching in class, I had some observation in class to know how Philippines teacher teaches in class. The teacher uses the method to explain the definition. Before giving an example, gradually explain step by step.
Opening activities
- Greeting.
- Introduce the chapter and present the lesson objective.
- Recall with students about division polynomials and give one exercise. Using 2 methods
- Long division
- Synthetic division
Core Ativities.
Construct the steps to solve new problems.
Doing some examples.
Closing activities.
The teacher asks and students answer about the lesson
The teacher gives students homework
Classroom management.
Classroom management I always give examples and ask students. After giving examples, there will be exercises and questions for volunteers to answer.
Time management and organizing activities 30 minutes.
Opening activities 5 minutes.
Core activities 20 minutes.
Closing activities 5 minutes.
Problem-solving.
I have some problems in my practice teaching: When I instruct students, I become enthusiastic. Occasionally, I have to expedite providing an example due to my fear of running out of time.
