Xavier University Junior High School, as an integral part of the Xavier University educational apostolate, is Jesuit in origin, Catholic in its orientation, and Filipino in its concerns. Recognizing the unique historical role of Xavier University in the development and growth of Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao,

• in partnership of Jesuits, Lay Faculty & Staff, parents, and

• in collaboration with other members of the Xavier University Community,

• employing a pedagogy which integrates Ignatian spirituality with the principles of the Jesuit Ratio Studiorum,

Teaching system

The teaching system of Xavier University Junior High School is IPP starts with instructional planning, plans 

the teaching according to the IPP model uses the teaching plan in teaching according to the actual lesson, and evaluates the results of student learning.

At Xavier University Junior High School there will be from Grade 7 to Grade 10, within one day students will study a total of 7 lessons from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
