First of all, I am honoured to participate in the SEA Teacher Exchange Program. I am very grateful and grateful for the hospitality of Xavier University and Xavier University Junior High School – Ateneo de Cagayan. This exchange programme is not only about classroom study, classroom observation, and teaching demonstrations, but also cultural exchange.
I have a lot to learn here. During class observation, reviews of previous classes are very important. Some methods from the previous class are useful to the current class. and expressing emotions during class if the teacher shows up and talks to the students in a happy way or uses a reason to talk. Don't get angry, and use your emotions. Students will dare to approach teachers more. When you study, you don't understand. You can come and ask the teacher. Dare to answer questions when the teacher asks them in front of you. Be more confident, but if the teacher expresses anger, students will not have the confidence to talk. or answer the teacher's questions.
The part that I learned the most was the teaching demonstration. In the first class, when I asked students, there was often no one to answer because the students were not confident in answering. and time to request volunteers. No one would dare come out and write on the board for fear of being wrong. But there was one volunteer who came to write on the board. The students tried to find the answer, but they couldn't find it. I told the students that it was okay. I'll come try it again. After that class, more people answered questions. And there are people who want to come out and solve problems on the board. This part has been learned: If a student makes a mistake, just try again. Students can learn from making mistakes and trying to get it right. It doesn't have to be perfect the first time.
