RECEIVING UNIVERSITY
Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU) is known as one of the fast growing Thai universities with more than 22,000 students, 478 teaching staff members and 310 supporting staff members. UDRU is a university where international and local knowledge meet to empower the community and the region. From its origin as a teacher education institute, UDRU maintains its specialization in teaching and learning fields as it continues to successfully expand its specialties in fields other than education.
UDRU hosts several cooperation and collaboration projects with the community, both public and private sectors. With international cooperation, there are several programs at the bi-lateral and multi-lateral level on many fields.
UDRU has participated in the Public Sector Management Quality Award (PMQA) since the program was initiated in 2005 and has been ranked among top ten higher education institutes of Thailand for four years: PMQA program 1st placed in 2005, 6th in 2006, 9th in 2007, and 3rd in 2008.
UDRU is located in the heart of the Udon Thani City, only 50 kms from Nong Khai and Laos PDR, and one hour from Bangkok by plane. It is a modern city where most visitors find it is convenient to fit in, but still seasoned by the local charms. Udon Thani offers a unique glimpse of pre-historic civilizations including those of Ban Chiang, and the biological diversity that makes up Udon Thani are within the reach.

HOST SCHOOL
Udonpittayanukoon School, a public secondary school catering more or less than 5,000 students to in grades 7-12, is managed by the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC). The school has earned accolades for being the top-performing institution in northeastern Thailand and was ranked 11th in the country in 2013.
