Hello! My name is Asmarani Kamila, and I am usually called Mila. I am a 20-year-old student from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, majoring in English Education, at Ahmad Dahlan University. I feel deeply honored and sincerely grateful to be given the opportunity to take part in the SEA-TEACHER 2026 Program, which has become a meaningful journey filled with valuable experiences, personal growth, and unforgettable lessons that will remain with me for a lifetime. 

Participating in the SEA-TEACHER Program feels like embarking on a long voyage across a vast and open ocean, where I encountered waves of challenges that tested my patience, adaptability, and determination, while also being supported by strong and encouraging winds that motivated me to keep moving forward. From the process of adjusting to new cultural environments to sharing knowledge and teaching students in unfamiliar classroom settings, every experience provided important lessons about courage, self-confidence, responsibility, and sincerity in the teaching profession. Although the journey was not always easy and often required me to step far outside my comfort zone, it was precisely through these challenges that I learned how to endure difficulties, reflect on my experiences, and grow both personally and professionally. 

Throughout this journey, the incredible people I met, the meaningful interactions I shared, and the life lessons I gained became essential parts of my experience, shaping my perspective and helping me develop into a stronger, wiser, and more compassionate individual. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported, guided, and encouraged me throughout this journey. I sincerely hope that this story can inspire us all to continue striving, learning, and creating positive change without limits, wherever our paths may lead 🌊✨  

Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) is a private higher education institution located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The university is situated at Jl. Kapas No. 9, Semaki, Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City, within the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Ahmad Dahlan University was established as a development of the Muhammadiyah Institute of Teacher Training and Education (IKIP) Yogyakarta. 

The Muhammadiyah Institute of Teacher Training and Education in Yogyakarta originated from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Muhammadiyah Jakarta Branch in Yogyakarta, which was founded on November 18, 1960. Furthermore, FKIP Muhammadiyah itself evolved from the Muhammadiyah BI course in Yogyakarta, which was first established in 1957. At that time, the BI course offered several fields of study, including Educational Sciences, Civic Law, and Economics. 

Capiz State University operates ten campuses across the Province of Capiz. In the First District, these campuses include the Roxas City Main Campus, Dayao Campus, Pontevedra Campus, and Pilar Campus. Meanwhile, the Second District is home to the Poblacion Mambusao Campus, Burias Campus, Sapian Campus, Dumarao Campus, Sigma Campus, and Tapaz Campus. 

I feel deeply honored and privileged to have been assigned to the Dumarao Campus in Dumarao. The welcoming atmosphere, strong support system, and meaningful learning opportunities have provided me with unforgettable experiences. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the lecturers, staff, and students who have warmly received me. I am truly thankful to be part of the Dumarao Campus community. 🌱
