Before you can register for classes, you must fill out an application online. Completing the online application is easy and free.
Currently enrolled students and those who have taken college courses at SDCCD (in the last year) do not need to submit a new application.
Students who have not registered for courses in a year (3 consecutive semesters) may need to reapply.
Reapplication is quick and easy. The reapplication is a two-step process. Students will need to create an account with CCCApply first and then login to start the college application. It typically takes 3 hours for the student account to be active and have access to the MySDCCD portal.
Each semester or summer session, you will have the opportunity to enroll in classes that bring you closer to your educational goals. We'll help guide you through the registration process so you can navigate your mySDCCD Portal, sign up for classes, and troubleshoot errors when enrolling. We even have helpful video resources and guides with step-by-step directions if you need extra support.
Once you complete your online application to become a student at Mesa College, you will automatically receive a registration date and time that indicates when you will be able to enroll in courses for an upcoming term (with the exception of Special-Admit High School students who are enrolled by the Admissions Office). You may register online at or after your designated time. Registration times typically begin around 2 weeks before the start of a semester and can be found on the College Student Dashboard in your mySDCCD Portal.

You may add classes online until the deadline date published in the schedule of classes. Refunds - Requests for permit refunds may be submitted before the add/drop date of the semester to the Parking Services office at parking@sdccd.edu. Permit refunds will not be issued after the add/drop date has passed. Please make sure to include your student ID number in your request.
