Boat Building - In Pictures

Our team are now building their third boat - "Hull 702", a sailing yawl with centreboard. This is a new adventure for the builders, after the success of the two skiffs "Grebe" and "Tern" which have been handed over to the rowers.

 Any Member who is interested in helping with the building of the newest addition to the Club fleet - a 19 ft Ness Yoal - can go to the Balnain Steading on the Brahan Estate at the following times :

Mondays : 1000-1200

Tuesdays : 1900-2100

Wednesdays : 1900-2100

You don't have to have joinery or boat-building skills as all the work is supervised by Angus Macinnes and other experienced builders and there are lots of non-skilled jobs like sanding and keeping the premises tidy

This also applies to anyone who just wants to see the building in progress
