Database Information
Database includes different fields.
Hybrid ST field contains the sequence type code assigned to each combination of allele types.
Portion A field reports if the allelic combination of portion A of the hybrid is present among VNI, VNII, or VNB haploids genotyped so far or it is present only among hybrids or in both groups.
Portion D field reports if the allelic combination of portion D of the hybrid is present among VNIV haploids genotyped so far or it is present only among hybrids or in both groups.
Associated hybrid strain field reports the strain ID code of the hybrid strains belonging to each hybrid ST.
Origin field reports the country where the hybrids were isolated
CAP59A, GPD1A, IGS1A, LAC1A, PLB1A, SOD1A, and URA5A fields report the allele types for each of the loci for the A portion of the hybrid.
ST-A field is the sequence type of the portion A of hybrid strain
CAP59D, GPD1D, IGS1D, LAC1D, PLB1D, SOD1D, and URA5D fields report the allele types for each of the loci for the D portion of the hybrid.
ST-D field is the sequence type of the portion D of hybrid strain
Alleles type numbers correspond to those present in the Cryptococcus MLST database. The value 0 means that allele is lacking.
Instructions to manage Hybrids Database
Click on the button here below and open the database.
You have two options to select records in the database:
1- Click the button Filter and input the value for one or more fields of the database (choose from the values proposed by the menu) and then click OK. The result of your search will be visualized. To cancel the filter click on Filter button and then on the x beside the filter.
2- Click on the button Search on the upper right corner of the window and input a value that will be searched in all the fields of the database. To cancel the selection cancel the value in the Search field.
The two options can be combined together.
If you want to visualize all data of a single Hybrid ST click on the button on left of the Hybrid ST and they will be visualized in a column. To come back to the table click on the Back arrow of your browser.
There is not a button to download your results but you can select the rows with the mouse, copy by right click, and paste in an Excel datasheet.
