This is Sharonda's 19th year in education. For over 10 years, she had the pleasure of doing what she loves most, teaching first grade at the same elementary school she attended as a child. Sharonda spent the last seven years sharing her passion for literacy and learning as a school-based literacy coach. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston and a Masters of Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. Sharonda is also certified in Early Childhood Education and has both the Literacy teacher and Literacy coach endorsements. She and her husband have been married for 16 years and have two children, Andrew (13) and Reagan (10). She is beyond excited about the opportunity to work with families in Region 3.
