Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Language and Literacy, both from the University of South Carolina. She holds 6 areas of certification in SC; early childhood education, elementary education, gifted and talented education, literacy teacher, literacy coach, and literacy specialist. She is currently a PhD student at the University of South Carolina in the Teaching and Learning program focusing on STEM literacy and English Language Learners. Most recently she worked as a 3rd grade virtual school teacher in Columbia. Samantha lives in Blythewood, SC with her husband and two boys, ages 10 and 3. Samantha is so excited to have the opportunity to work with families around the state!
