Now it’s our turn to show our Scouting spirit. | Scouting America, Monmouth Council| Providing Scouting programs for young people throughout central New Jersey since 1917. Scouting America is thrilled to announce a national partnership with @America250, inspiring Scouts across the country to celebrate this historic milestone. For 250 years, America has grown through service, leadership, and a commitment to community — and for 109 of those years, Monmouth Council has proudly carried that legacy forward through Scouting.
Use this simple script prompt:
“My name is ___ from Pack/Troop ___, and I want to wish America a Happy 250th Birthday!”
Record your video, keep it upbeat and full of Scout pride, and submit your entry by May 31.

Order of the Arrow
For more than 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long-term resident camping, developing leaders, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich, support, and help to extend Scouting to America's youth.
Na Tsi Hi Lodge #71
Na Tsi Hi is the name of our lodge, which is also known by its national lodge number, #71. As scouts are organized into Troops, so the OA is broken up into Lodges. The Order of the Arrow uses Indian Lore to enhance the attractiveness of its program. In the Cherokee language “na tsi hi” means “in the pines,” referring to the pine trees at Camp Housman (which is now part of Allaire State Park) where the lodge was founded.

The Camp Card sale is offered through Monmouth Council and provides a no-risk opportunity for all Scouts to sell discount Merchant cards to help them earn their way to camp. While units are encouraged to use the Camp Card Sale to help their scouts pay their way to summer camp, units may use the camp card sale to raise funds for any scouting adventures, unit activities, or unit operations and equipment. The 9thpoint of the Scout law states: “A Scout is thrifty” and is defined as “A Scout works to pay their way and to help others. They save for the future. They protect and conserve natural resources. A Scout is careful in their use of time and property.”
Cards may be picked up at the Monmouth Council Service Center at any time during the sale.
Costs, Profit, & Payments: Camp Cards are to be sold for $5 each.
This fundraiser provides a 50% profit margin! Therefore, the cost of each camp card is $2.50 each. All payments must be submitted in full, to the Monmouth Council, by 5:00pm on August 1, 2025. Any unpaid balance will incur a 50% service charge ($1.25 per card). Payments not made by August 31, 2024, will be charged to the Unit UDA account.
