I am currently a data scientist at Elder Research Inc. Previously I was a data science engineer at Merkle (2021-2023), a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California Riverside (2019-2021), and a non-tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University (2016-2019). In the summer of 2016 I was a visiting scholar at the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany. I obtained my PhD in mathematics in May 2016 at the University of Virginia under the supervision of David Sherman.
In my free time I like to spend time with my wife Haley, my son Ford (born December 2015), my daughter Hollis (born May 2019), and my dog Dean. I enjoy reading, skiing, racquetball, and playing music (guitar and bass in particular).
