My name is Matthew Scocchia. I am a twenty something year old from Southern Ontario. I am a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where I studied Statistics and Economics. I have always been enamoured with knowing, tracking and analyzing stats in sports. I'm a hockey superfan and have been playing for almost 20 years. Aside from hockey, I enjoy watching almost any sport that's on TV. 

ScotiaStat contract projections first hit social media in late February 2024. Projections for the 2024 season only started tracking in early May 2024 so projections for the whole season are unavailable. Projections were made for the summer of 2023 but not released publicly. 

This whole project originally started as a way for me to increase my chance of landing a job by boosting my portfolio. Everything that's happened since then has been more than I could have thought possible.
