At the University: Beyond Basics
Beyond Basics is a Faculty Learning Community (FLC) at Bentley University that focuses on collaborative curriculum development and pilot testing to enhance transdisciplinary teaching and learning and foster transformative skills in students that span disciplines. Professor Scoglio is currently a co-leader of this FLC with Associate Provost Dave Szymanski.

Professor Scoglio regularly teaches the following courses:
NAS319 Public Health in America, which offers an introduction to public health systems and issues in the USA and an introduction to epidemiology- the science of public health.
NAS318 Global Health Challenges, which offers insight into major infectious diseases affecting humans across the globe, an introduction to global public health and a focus on issues affecting the global south.
NAS412 Capstone Seminar in Psychology and Health Industries, a research capstone specifically for students majoring in Psychology or Health Industries.
