We find that the most rewarding research is collaborative! We collaborate with scholars within Bentley University and maintain relationships with other institutions for ongoing projects. Current collaborations are spotlighted on this page.
Our lab is nested within Bentley's Department of Natural and Applied Sciences. We also often collaborate with faculty from other departments and research centers, such as Bentley's Center for Health and Business and Bentley's Center for the Integration of Science and Industry. Students working with Professor Scoglio are sometimes funded through Bentley's Valente Center.
The Broad Trauma Initiative seeks to understand the mechanisms by which trauma, occurring over the life course, but especially in childhood, gets into the bodies of patients and shapes how they think, feel, and behave, often for the remainder of their lives.
Professor Scoglio serves as a consultant for some BTI projects.
