What we do.

reBuilding Blocks partners with neighbors, developers, community organizations, or non-profits to identify properties that are vacant, blighted, and that have not been offered for sale in the last 60 days.

If a property is identified, we then begin work with the neighbors/organization to petition the Court in efforts of appointing reBuilding Blocks as conservator of the property. reBuilding Blocks manages the petition process from beginning to end.

If and when conservatorship is granted to reBuilding Blocks, we are able to begin the management and/or rehabilitation process of the property. reBuilding Blocks also, at this point, assumes all responsibility for the property, including liens, taxes, and mortgages. reBuilding Blocks is tasked with curing any and all L&I violations, improving the property, and then marketing of the property via MLS to either developers or potential buyers/homeowners.

The process explained in the above paragraph is done with transparency and Court oversight. All funding is provided by reBuilding Blocks as the conservator. No taxpayer funds are used.
