Technology means using tools, machines, or ideas to make life easier or better. It helps us do things faster, safer, and smarter
Types of Technology
Information Technology (IT)
➤ Helps us store, find, and share information.
Example: Computers, the internet, Google.
Communication Technology
➤ Helps us talk to others, even if they are far away.
Example: Phones, WhatsApp, Zoom.
Medical
Technology
➤ Helps doctors take care of our health.
Example: X-rays, thermometers, health apps.
Educational Technology
➤ Helps people teach and learn better.
Example: Smartboards, online classes, YouTube videos for learning.
Mechanical or Industrial Technology
➤ Helps make products in factories.
Example: Robots in factories, machines that build cars.
Transportation Technology
➤ Helps people and things move from one place to another.
Example: Cars, trains, airplanes, GPS.
Agricultural Technology
➤ Helps farmers grow food better and faster.
Example: Tractors, sprinklers, drones.
Energy
Technology
➤ Helps us get and use energy like electricity.
Example: Solar panels, batteries, windmills.

Interesting Facts!
The first computer was called ENIAC, and it was built in 1946. It was so big that it filled an entire room! ENIAC was made to help the U.S. Army solve math problems, especially for planning in wartime.
The first robot was made in 1954 by a man named George Devol. It was called Unimate, and it could be programmed to do simple jobs, like moving parts or stacking items.
Science & Technology
Science helps us understand the world by studying nature and doing experiments. Technology uses that knowledge to create tools that make life easier. They work together. For example, science found out that germs cause sickness, and technology helped make soap and vaccines to keep us healthy. In simple words, science discovers, and technology applies.
From the discovery of fire to smart machines, this video shows how human creativity and curiosity shaped our world through science and technology. Watch now and see how far we've come and where we might go next!
