Stroboscopic system

This system is responsible for the production of short, repetitive flashes of light. For this purpose 4 RGB LED strips in parallel connection were used. Each strip consists of 27 LEDs of high brightness (1000 lumens/m). The high brightness was chosen so as the phenomenon to be visible in any lighting condition. The flash frequency is determined by an Arduino UNO microcontroller and it is regulated by an application that runs on an Android device (tablet or smartphone). The comunication is done via bluetooth. The length of time that the LEDs are on (duty-cycle) is about 10% of the period of repeated flashes. In this way shorter LED flashes and a better visual are obtained. For the detailed circuits see the figures below.
