Chamber

Chamber

The construction consists of three basic components: (a) the water outflow tank, (b) the observation chamber and (c) the water collection basin, as shown in the adjacent figure.

In the upper part of the construction the water tank is placed, from where the water flow moves downwards with the use of a thin plastic pipe. The water supply to the pipe is determined by a water flow controller. The plastic pipe ends in front of a speaker, which makes the pipe to vibrate at a specific frequency.

In the middle part of the construction the observation chamber is placed, which is lighted by 4 LED strips. LED lighting allows the observer to watch the phenomenon at different frequencies.

Finally, in the lower part of the construction the water basin collection is placed, which returns the water to the upper part and in this way the amount of water is replaced.
