Take Away Monument is a participatory, inflatable artwork approximately 10 meters tall that approaches commemoration in a dynamic way. The piece consists of a pedestal with interchangeable memorial plaques that the public can hang, a classical column, and a surreal soap bubble crowning the top. Nearby stands a maroon-colored wooden wall displaying all the plaques, topped with an inviting message encouraging participation.

Much like the inflatable material of the artwork itself, the soap bubble symbolizes the fragile balance between war and peace, memory and oblivion. The air-filled column, like the bubble, is a temporary yet impactful symbol.

Spectators can choose memorial plaques from the wall and place them on the pedestal of the artwork, allowing the monument to continuously evolve and gain personal meaning. The installation is preceded by a bubble machine that playfully introduces visitors to the theme.

This innovative monument invites reflection and transforms remembrance into an interactive experience. It forms a unique landmark that is impossible to overlook. This monument aligns perfectly with the improbable imagery that characterizes our body of work.
