Degrees:

• Bachelor's of Science in Ecology (2011) and Bachelor's of Science in Biology (2013) both from UGA.

• Master's Degree of Science in Biology from Long Island University (01/2016).

• Currently working on Education Specialist in Curriculum and Development at Kennesaw State University (May 2023).

Teaching Experience:​

• I started teaching high school at Gilmer High School in 2016. My current position is at SCHS and I started here in 2019.

• I have taught college for longer! I have taught at Long Island University, University of North Georgia, and Georgia Highlands College (current position).

Interest & Hobbies:​

• I love being outdoors- hiking, kayaking, exploring. I love to travel with my significant other and Riley (our dog).

• I got a Cricut machine and have started going crazy with making stuff!

Interesting facts about myself:​

• My Undergrad and Masters research was about marine snails (speciation and ecology).

• I graduated from SCHS Magnet Program in 2007
