As part of the CCSD Student Services Division School-Based Mental Health initiative, individualized short-term clinical services are available for students on an as needed to be considered for these services, students must be referred internally to Safe School Professional. A signed Consent Form for individual services in person will need to be on file and when in distance learning a Tele-Health Services Consent Form for the services will need to be on file as well.
Small group support is available for those students who are identified as having a need and qualify based on internally decisions to be assess for the presenting need. Now that we are in-person learning and for the students who are in Distance Learning, small group support will be available in person and through Google Meet. A signed in person Consent Form and a sign distance learning for Tele-Health Services Consent Form will need to be on file for the student to participate due to the nature of small groups.
The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) was created to provide crisis intervention and support to Nevada families dealing with a behavioral or mental health crisis. For so long, families have had no choice but to go to the emergency room due to lack of resources or knowledge of available resources.
