This resource supports the Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) history syllabus topics Present and past family life and The past in the present.
The resource draws on the collection of the NSW Schoolhouse Museum to develop understandings of ways of past everyday life in the context of school and schooling. It develops skills in using primary sources to learn about the past.
It has been developed to support remote learning for schools who are unable to visit the NSW Schoolhouse Museum of Public Education due to their location or restrictions on excursions.
The activity sheets are Google docs.
