Great news!  Hypothesis is offering instructors a new learning opportunity with Hypothesis Academy - a no-cost, two-week asynchronous course. Hypothesis Academy teaches faculty how to use the Hypothesis tool and design social annotation assignments to support student learning at any point in the term. We would love to have you join us! Not sure what Hypothesis is? Check out this one-minute video on how Hypothesis engages students in course readings and makes reading active, visible, and social.

Participants who complete the course receive recognition as a Hypothesis Certified Educator. By the end of the course, you’ll have set up a Hypothesis-enabled assignment in your course site, complete with instructions for your students and a grading plan. The new cohort begins on March 14th. Canvas Upgrades - Summer 2023

Top Hat

Recently we have updated Top Hat to Top Hat LTI 1.3.  If you are currently using Top Hat I encourage you to transition to the new LTI 1.3.  During  the Spring-Summer transition we will discontinue Top Hat and only have access to Top Hat LTI 1.3.  If you are currently using this app please take note.  There have been a few hiccups with TopHat 1.0 and we hope to resolve by Summer 2023.

ALEKS

Over the break we added ALEKS for higher education within our CGE. If you are interested in using this app, feel free to!  This is now available to you and you may have noticed this new option under your course navigation screen under the course settings page:
