Description/History:

Galen was born in Twill town, like most everyone there. He had a very normal up bringing. Bright, energetic, willing to learn and always asking questions. It hardly surprised anyone when he took interest in becoming a doctor. He dove into books and research about the task, quite literately letting it take over his life.

Each day, sun up to sun down, he studied and researched illnesses and cures. Around town he became reclusive, and short to conversations. He was becoming a great doctor, no doubt. But socially, he had cut off everyone to get to that point.

One day, he left to take one of his frequent trips to other towns to study medicine. The trip was normal at first, but as the days rolled on, scarfits started getting worried. He had never taken that long to return from his trips.

The night they were about to go looking for him, He walked back into town with an infant in his arms. She looked ravaged, and barely alive. He said nothing to the scarfits around demanding to know what happened, and took her to his office.

Days went by before he emerged again, with the now healthy looking Teni in tow. He never spoke about what happened during that trip, and acts as though everything is normal.

Many have been able to look past this, as he was still an amazing doctor for the town. Others however, still give him the side eye if he walks by.
