Terms of Use — Sayglide
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Sayglide app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The app
Sayglide is a teleprompter. It scrolls a script at a set pace or follows your voice, records video with captions built from your own words, mirrors for glass rigs, and can be driven from a second iPhone or iPad. Speech recognition runs on your device.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Sayglide on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, rent, redistribute or sublicense the app, or attempt to extract its source code.
Free tier, Pro and billing
Free: unlimited scripts, voice follow in every supported language, pacing, markers and sections, mirroring, the reading guide, recording, and remote control. Free recordings carry a small Sayglide mark.
Sayglide Pro removes that mark from your recordings and unlocks captions. It is sold as:
Weekly, Monthly and Yearly auto-renewing subscriptions; the Yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
Lifetime — a one-time purchase, not a subscription
How billing works:
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device.
If you cancel during the free trial, you keep access until the trial ends and are not charged.
Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm anything. Apple may adjust prices for currency or tax reasons; you will be asked to agree to any price increase.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring purchases: if you reinstall the app or use a new device, tap Restore purchases in Settings or on the Pro screen.
We may adjust what is included in each tier in future versions; what you have already bought stays yours.
Your content
Your scripts and recordings are yours. They are stored on your device; recordings you save go to your Photos library. You are responsible for your device backups: because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot restore it if you lose or delete it.
Recording other people
You are responsible for having the right to record and publish whoever appears in your videos, and for complying with the laws of your country when you film.
Third-party licences
The Lexend and OpenDyslexic typefaces are included under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the licence texts are inside the app. The app's own code, artwork and design remain ours.
Availability and changes
We may update the app, change features, or stop supporting older versions. Speech recognition depends on the languages Apple supports on your device and may differ by device and iOS version.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
