Savino Go is a composer, sound designer, computer programmer, and performer who, through his artistic practice, aims to understand and engage with the systems of organization - material or perceptual - that mediate his lived experience. From his exploration of the relationship between material constraints and dance music idioms to his appropriation and development of designed user interfaces to his more recent works of video art performance, Savino is always interested in using his work to make connections, build conceptual models, and test those models against the real world. His portfolio includes fixed media, compositions and performances of Creative Music, and even a software performance interface designed to be operated via a generic game controller.  

Savino is currently in his final semester of study as an undergraduate both in the Oberlin Conservatory and College. His education in electronic music has also come from five years of Tutelage under Dr. Michael Miller who currently teaches at UMKC, the UMKC summer composition workshop, and the SPLICE Institute in 2021. During his time in undergrad, Savino has collaborated with many of his colleagues in the TIMARA department. A few recent and notable collaborations include Find Mii 3, a narrative, multimedia installation created by Josif Collazo, and the TIMARA 5th Year Extravaganza with works by Henry Samra, Collazo, Bram Bellonsky-Stern, and himself. 

In addition to his work in Oberlin conservatory’s TIMARA department, Savino is also pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Oberlin College which he leverages musically through his work with Max/MSP, TouchDesigner, and the occasional web app development.
