Pre-Engineering II

Grades 9-12 (Semester) Syllabus

This is a semester long course for ALL students no matter what your skill and ability level is. In this course each student will learn safety and operations on an array of machinery and hand tools focusing on metal working. Students will learn about engineering by utilizing the engineering design process to solve a complex design problem. Students will work in teams on a quarter long master project in which each team (company) will design, build, and present a working prototype. The master project for Pre-Engineering II will be an automated pneumatic can crusher made out of metal. Shop Fee: $25
