Email Collection project
The purpose of this project is to help improve anti-spam and email filtering technology. To do that, we will need you to send us non-spam emails you have received from businesses or organizations in which time plays a pivotal role. These emails can be categorized in two different categories, known as:
Time-sensitive emails
are emails sent to an individual recipient where delivery at a specific point in time directly influences the value of the message. These are usually emails that users prefer to see in their inbox so they can act upon within a certain time window.
Transactional emails
are emails sent to one individual at a time that specify or give further information about recent transactions, financial statements, shipment deliveries, receipts of purchases and travel bookings.

- List of emails we are not looking for. Since our goal is to get as much variety as we can, we will only allow for a certain number of emails from each business or organization, as well as a certain number of emails with similar subjects. So be sure to check this list before uploading to only upload relevant emails.
Is the job already assigned to me?
Jobs for this project will be available every week from Thursday to Monday. Please note that the platform can only be accessed on a PC or Mac computer. You will not be able to participate from your smartphone.

Is there a deadline for submitting my downloaded emails?
New jobs will be available every Thursday and they will stay available till Monday. If you have not completed a job till the deadline of Monday, then any data uploaded under this job will be discarded. You will not be eligible for compensation for any incomplete jobs.
Kindly note that the list of email domains and email subjects that we don't accept anymore (because we have already received the data from other contributors) is updated weekly. Please check the Domain and Subject list section before uploading your emails, to avoid sending duplicate data that will not be accepted.
How many emails can I submit?
You can submit a maximum of 50 emails. Also, you can only upload up to 5 emails belonging to the same category.
Please note that each job in our DataForce Platform is prepared to accept 10 emails. This is so you can upload the emails in batches of 10. So if you wish to upload 30 emails, you will need to claim three different jobs.
What happens after I participate?
Once you have uploaded your emails, our Quality Assurance team will analyze the emails you submitted to us and verify if they meet the acceptance criteria.
The accepted Emails will then go through our PII (Personally Identifiable Information) process where we exclude any personal data from the body of your emails before delivery. This may include your full name, email address, financial information, address, etc. Please note that because the main purpose of this Project is to analyze subject lines, subjects with PII will be rejected.
Due to the large volume of submissions, the review stage can take up to 8 weeks to be completed. You will receive feedback on your submitted data once the review is finalized.
