A Man in Nature's Domain
A man stands in a lake, the breeze on his legs.
The lake stood still.
The lake stood silent.
A man stands in a lake, watching the small fish swim by.
The sky stood tall.
The sky stood, holding the falling sun.
A man stands in a lake, a small current at his knees.
The trees stood straight, with arms spread.
The trees stood firm, unable to move.
A man stands in a lake, eagles stare at him from the heavens.
The sun stood proudly, beginning its descent into the end of a day which was once new.
The sun stopped standing, plummeting to darkness.
A man stands in a lake.
The moon stood brighter than its predecessor.
The moon stood brighter among the stars.
