My wife is an artist and a writer. She is excellent at illustrating books for children, creating experimental stimuli for researchers and in general drawing whatever has to be drawn.
My mother runs a school in Riga for children who want to learn more than the standard school curriculum can offer.
My father has until recently worked as a film producer in Riga.
I used to be a member of the Cambalache tango club in Uppsala, and of Tango Polar (my first love) in Tromsø. In Gothenburg, I do not have an affiliation, I cruise across all clubs.
Apart from tango, I also dance a little contact impro and sometimes arrange eccentric sort-of-contact-impro-based dance workshops.
I used to be a member (and a board member) at Allez Fencing club.
