CHIEF OF POLICE
The Chief of Police is the highest-ranking officer in the department. The Chief of Police directs, plans, and coordinates the enforcement of laws for the purpose of protecting persons and property, and for the preservation of the peace in the community.ASSISTANT CHIEF OF POLICE
The Assistant Chief of Police, also known as the Director of Operations,
serves as the person responsible for the smooth running and day-to-day operations of the department as a whole.
The Assistant Chief would also assume command of the department if the Chief was incapacitated in any way.
