Friends, colleagues, and fellow visionaries,
It is an honor to share my journey with you today. I am Sardar Asifur Rahman, a Diploma Engineer in Power, and truly, my professional life is a tapestry woven with threads of engineering, entrepreneurship, and a profound commitment to education. From the vibrant fields of Satkhira, Bangladesh, my mission has always been clear: to empower, innovate, and build.
My passion ignited early, recognizing the immense potential within our communities, particularly among our youth. This conviction led me to found Sardar Consultancy Service, where we guide businesses and projects towards sustainable growth. Simultaneously, as the Executive Director of ST Automobiles Ltd., I've had the privilege of steering a company that doesn't just service vehicles, but also trains the hands that work on them.
My experience has been incredibly diverse. From the hands-on days at Sohel Motor Garage, where I immersed myself in the mechanics of automobiles, to my time as a PM Engineer ensuring the reliability of telecommunication networks, every step has deepened my technical expertise. But it was my role as a Master Trainer for the UNICEF-supported project – teaching market-driven skills to out-of-school adolescents in the Haor areas – that truly shaped my understanding of education's transformative power. Witnessing those young minds absorb practical knowledge and gain opportunities solidified my belief: skills are the foundation of true progress.
This is why, today, a significant part of my focus is on vocational training. Whether it's developing cutting-edge auto diagnostics programs through ST Automobiles, or crafting comprehensive curricula for Auto Mechanics and Welding at Sardar Consultancy Service, my goal remains the same: to equip individuals with the competence and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. We are not just teaching trades; we are cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit, fostering problem-solvers, and building the skilled workforce that Bangladesh needs for its future.
I envision a future where every young person, regardless of their background, has access to the practical education that unlocks their full potential. A future where our local industries are powered by homegrown talent, driving innovation in automotive, renewable energy, and beyond.
I invite you to join me in this endeavor. Whether you are a business looking for strategic guidance, a young person eager to learn, or an organization seeking a partner in skill development, let us collaborate. Let us empower. Let us build a stronger, more skilled, and prosperous Bangladesh, together.
Thank you.
