For the Spring 2024 semester, I worked on Team Puppamatics. In partnership with West Liberty University, we developed a tool to help 4th- and 5th-grade students visualize the puppet-making process while learning about 3D geometry.
The project was designed for a 2–3 hour workshop in West Liberty's maker space. Students worked in groups of 2–3, using Chromebooks to design their own marionette puppets with our software. They could then print out templates and follow step-by-step tutorials to assemble their puppets.
Throughout the project, I worked with one other programmer to implement features and develop the user interface, while collaborating with the rest of the team to design and test the tool.
